John Deere announced in 2005 that it will put factory-fill B2 in tractors, combines, self-propelled sprayers, and other diesel powered machines made in the U.S.
When Jeep maker DaimlerChrysler delivers the diesel-powered Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD to dealers in the first quarter of 2007, the SUVs will be filled with B5, a blend containing 5 percent biodiesel. The 2007 Grand Cherokee is the Chrysler Group's first diesel-powered, full-sized sport utility vehicle to be offered in the United States.
Chrysler Group President and CEO Dieter Zetsche said each diesel Liberty CRD produced in their Toledo, Ohio, plant will advance the use of cleaner burning renewable fuels, starting in November 2004 with B5 factory fill.
